About the Photographer

Career and Background

My journey began at 16 years old when I took my first photography and videography class in high school. The creativity, the expression had me hooked, and I knew then and there, I was going to figure out how to make this a career. I took every opportunity to I shadow professionals or freelance on my own up until I was old enough to start working in the industry on my own. I have had the privilege of working for Emmy Award winning directors and producers, exposing myself to specifically the world of documentary. Eventually, that became my specialty, working on documentary sets under some phenomenal players in the film industry. I received my BS from San Diego State University in Television, Film and New Media with an emphasis in Production. I graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude, and received a job offer after graduation to work for a video based startup located in Encinitas, CA. After some time working there as their lead editor, I became the company's Creative Manager. I eventually moved on to working for a marketing agency based in Vista, CA, becoming the company's Creative Director, then VP of Operations and Executive Producer. Currently, I work for a small business based in San Diego as their Marketing Director, leading all lead generation and content creation.
